Early Childhood Family Education

Offers families with infants, toddlers and preschoolers opportunities to learn and grow together.

Early Childhood Screening
Assesses preschoolers for developmental growth before entering kindergarten.  Some of the forms you'll need for your child's early childhood screening are available here as PDF files.

School Readiness
Strives to ensure children arrive at kindergarten ready to learn.

Stepping Stones
A preschool program for children ages 3-5 that enhances their skills and abilities.

Let's go to the "Hop"

Early Childhood & Family Programs Annual “Sock Hop” is a great family event for parents, grandparents, aunt, and uncles with young children from toddlers to school age.

Join us from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20 at Skyview Community School. Advance ticket prices for adults and children age one year and older are $4, or $5 at the door. Ticket price includes pizza, fruit & cookie, and a beverage.

Call the Early Childhood Office at Gladstone Center 651-748-7280 for information or to purchase tickets.


Stepping Stones Preschool 2009/10

Stepping Stones Preschool is for children who will be three, four and five years old by Sept. 1, 2009. Drop-off preschool classes are held mornings, afternoons, or evenings, and are scheduled two, three, or five days a week from September 2009 through May 2010.
