Who Can Advertise?

  • Preferred: Health, Arts, Education, Recreation, Community Events.
  • Not Accepted: Conflicting or competitive organizations with District activities.

Submission Guidelines

  • Content: Organization name, contact information and high-resolution artwork.
  • Format: Minimum 300 d.p.i. PDF, JPG, or EPS file with embedded fonts and graphics, all black or CMYK in color.
  • Late and/or Edits: A $50 or more layout fee will be added to ads not submitted as “camera ready”, or submitted after the deadline. Client will need to make the corrections and resubmit, but depending on timeline, new entry may be refused and previous ad will run (no extra fee will be incurred in this case).
  • Restrictions: Ads may not be for travel, credit card, insurance, alcohol, or tobacco and cannot include a registration form or cut-out coupon.

What Else to Know

  • Ad Space Availability: First come, first served, not guaranteed. Fees fully refunded if space is unavailable.
  • Layout: Ads will be enclosed in a border if one is not already a part of the ad and the placement of the ad within the publication is at the discretion of C.E.
  • Approval Process: Ads are reviewed for compliance with ISD 622 policies and educational objectives.

 

 

Pricing

Classified into Class 1, 2, or 3 based on the organization. 
  • Class 1: School groups, non-profit organizations, and government units advertising their organization or events that are free and open to the public. Non-profit organizations may be required to provide a 501c3 I.D. number.
  • Class 2: School groups, non-profit organizations, and government units that charge admission, registration, or sell merchandise relating to the advertised event, program, or service.
  • Class 3: Commercial and for-profit organizations.

Advertisers willing to commit to one year of advertising (three consecutive catalogs) will receive a 10% discount. Payment for the entire year will be due during the initial catalog billing cycle.

* Ads may be denied if an organization has an overdue account payable to ISD 622.

** We reserve the right to refuse any advertising that conflicts with our program offerings or does not align with our district policies and guidelines. Acceptance of advertisements does not imply endorsement by Community Education or School District 622.
